Facebook's 'new' design has revamped almost everything and while everyone needs a little time to get used to the changes, it's nice to know that some features have not been removed. The "meatballs" ••• menu is still there and it comes with even more functions.
Fun fact: It's called a meatballs menu if the circles are ••• horizontal and a kebab menu if the circles are stacked ⋮ vertically. And the ☰ menu is called a hamburger menu.
So, what does the "meatballs" ••• menu in your Facebook newsfeed do?
The answer is: it depends on whether it's a personal profile, a business Page or a Group.
Have you ever read a post and wanted to follow the developments? Some users resort to typing "F" for follow or "Park" or even "Up" so that they will get notifications when other users comment. there is a far easier and correct way to do it.
All you need to is click or tap on the ••• menu on the top right hand corner of the particular post and you'll have a few options. In this case, you can choose
Turn on notifications for this post and whenever someone comments, you will be notified. You can also choose to turn off the notifications once you're done following the post.
The ••• menu will also sometimes show View edit history and if you click on that, it will show you all the edits that were made to the post. This feature only appears if the post was edited after it's published so it will not be visible for all posts.

Of course, if you find any posts that you want to save for later, you can choose to
Save link or
Save video (depends on the post type).
Other features include
Copy link if you plan to share it externally or
Embed if you want to share it on your website. However, not all posts can be embedded depending on the privacy settings.
